Yearly Event Calendar
ALC holds six social events at the beach each summer. Below are our scheduled events for 2023.
Saturday, April 8 - ALC Egg Hunt, 10:00 A.M. (RSVP to Robin Heraghty at raheraghty@gmail.com - sorry, no rain date)
Sunday, May 21 - Annual Meeting and Beach Clean Up, 1:00 P.M.
June , date TBD - prepping and painting the swim float day - volunteers needed
June , date TBD - assembling and installing the swim float day - volunteers needed
Saturday, June 24 - ALC Cocktail Party - 6:30 P.M. - Hosted by Auldwood Road
Friday, June 30 - City of Stamford Fireworks (rain date: Friday, July 7 )
Tuesday, July 4 - ALC Independence Day Children's Parade and Breakfast at the Beach - 10:00 A.M. - hosted by ODN & Shippan Ave
Saturday, September 2 - ALC Family Fun Day - 10:30am until twilight - Hosted by Chesterfield Road
Noon-1:00: Lunch
1:00-3:00: Junior olympics
3:00-5:00: Open water relay races
Twilight: Bonfire and s'mores
Saturday, September 9th - ALC Golf Outing at Sterling Farms (morning round, then drinks and passed appetizers at the restaurant)
Saturday, October 21 - Removing the swim float, 10:00 A.M. - volunteers needed
Saturday, October 21 - ALC Octoberfest, 3:00 P.M. - hosted by Lanark Road
And one event already scheduled for next year:
Monday, January 1, 2024 - Polar Plunge, ____ P.M.

ALC Independence Day Parade and Breakfast at the Beach
Come to the beach where the kids can take part in a fun bike parade and have a community potluck breakfast!
ALC Family Picnic Day
Come down to the beach and have a picnic where kids can participate in fun field day activities!
ALC Goodbye to Summer Party
This is a fun yearly event at the end of the beach year with a fun theme or activity.
